The birthday party for Gerty was full of surprises and laughter. Now, at 84, she felt old. Her husband, Herb, had passed away five months earlier. She gave herself two full months to mourn, but after that she wanted to visit with as many of her family as she was physically able.

😁 I'm with Gerty! Wouldn't wish to have never been born, and would wish for a few more years; but I wouldn't wish for 80 more years to live on this earth!
Gerty has been blessed with a long life. My wish for her is to be with her husband in heaven.
