Leaning against the doorpost to his newborn daughter’s dimly lit room, Zane smiled and squinted and pursed his lips and raised his eyebrows and smiled some more as his daughter slept peacefully in her crib. Lana eased up beside her husband and looked up at him. He continued to change facial expressions as he stared down at his daughter.
He put his arm around Lana and brought her closer.
“Whatcha thinking?” she asked.
Zane sighed but continued looking at the newborn.
Lana waited and knew this was a special bonding moment, one between him and his daughter, as well as between the newlyweds themselves.
“Amazing, isn’t it?” Zane said.
“Yes, it certainly is.”
“How they can continue to manufacture those all-wooden cribs for 150 bucks just astounds me.”
😱😂😅 Good read David!
😁 And with that capper, Lana's learning about Zane, her new husband and father of the adored baby.
