Short Story Day 16 of 365

Raymond had seen the drastic increase in car thefts and thefts of items inside vehicles in his neighborhood. He wasn’t overly worried about it since he rarely kept anything inside his 25-year-old rusty and paint-chipped Chevy.

Just in case, though, he wrote out a full page note and placed in under a wiper blade for three nights in a row.

The note simply stated NO VALUABLES IN CAR.

On the morning of the third day, he found his window smashed in, and a note under the windshield wiper.
