I came out from among the bushes and there he was. He started chasing me. Well, he wasn’t really chasing but merely pursuing. He was much larger than I was. but I had several advantages over him. For one, I’m a lot more agile. I’m also cuter, though that probably doesn’t make any difference in this case, so I’m not sure why I’m bringing it up.
Did I mention I was more agile? The further along I went, the faster he seemed to be gaining on me. I kept stopping and looking back, and he had no thought of going off the sidewalk, so it was me who had to take the moral high road.
My choices were limited. I could go into the unknown shrubs. I knew what was behind the shrubs fifty feet ago, but surroundings change a lot in suburbs. On the other side of me was the road and I knew that was a major hazard. And I had ol’ whozit behind me.
What to do? What to do?
I took a gamble and went over into the shrubbery. It was an amazing thing because it opened right up into a massive grassy field, which was very different than 50 feet back. I had plenty to eat and…wait a minute. My papa warned me about the open fields. There were slimy crawling things in the high grass. He said just because it looked peaceful didn’t mean I’d be safe. The big people you could see, but the crawlers that slithered along? Oh no, now I’m in worse shape than I was with that thing pursuing me. I can’t just stay here, but by now that human will have been right where I went into the bush…
Hey hey hey? What are you doing? What are you doing? Where are you taking me? And get your claws out of my fur! Who do you think you are? Hey now, this is pretty cool up here. I could have fun if I did this all day. Now I get to see everything from well, a birds’ eye view.
Wait. This can’t be good. This can’t be good at all.
And Papa warned me about these flying creatures too. Why didn’t I listen when I had the chance?
Goodbye silly world. I had four rabbit feet and look at the luck it gave me. Be seein’ ya.

Oh No! looks like rabbit was stuck on all his choices
