Stopping on an incline: a real "fear" point for manual-shift drivers. I've felt that fear a few times on some high bridges I could name on a New Orleans-to-Houston route.

Although they say driving a stick shift is one of the best forms of protection for the car since carjackers generally are expecting automatic transmissions when they steal one, so there is that!
