Yes
Getting to Yes quickly.
Tomas checked the caller ID on the landline before answering it: UNKNOWN.
“Hello?”
“Good afternoon, Mr. Nicholson. My name is Naomi Prentiss. I’m calling from Landslide Web Design, which builds conversion-focused websites for small businesses specifically in the residential services industry. I took a look at your website lakevilleplumbingandheatingllc.com and noted various points where our service could improve your on-site sales.
“Do you have 5 minutes to chat about these points?”
Tomas smiled and said, “Yes.”
“Great. First of all, we noticed that your call to action is a bit weak and unclear. Did you have an outside vendor build your site?”
“Yes,” said Tomas.
“That’s what I was afraid of. Were you also aware that end users – in this case those with plumbing needs – will click off your site and go elsewhere if the site is cluttered and clunky?”
“Yes.”
“Great to hear. Mr. Nicholson, are you familiar with the term Search Engine Optimization?”
“Yes.”
“And are you aware that 95% of all modern websites are non-compliant with the latest search engines and therefore often penalized from ranking higher?”
“Yes,” Tomas said.
Naomi paused. Nobody in her three years of calling had answered in the affirmative with that question.
“Fantastic. Would you care to hear how our team of SEO experts can revolutionize your website and quite frankly your business?”
“Yes.”
Sales agent Prentiss launched into three points that Landslide was known for. She paused and asked, “Are you still with me, Mr. Nicholson.”
“Yes.”
“I’m not boring you, am I?”
Tomas said, “Yes.”
Are you wasting my time today?”
“Yes.”
“Thank you and all the best.”
Tomas placed the phone back onto the hook.
“Who was that?” his wife asked.
“Wrong number.”

Yes 😂😅
