When James Keaton approached the older couple at the end of the church service, he smiled and asked, “Mrs. Craven, yes or no?”
The Cravens had known James since he first started coming to the church three years ago. They took him under their wings since he was single and in the military.
Mrs. Craven was puzzled by the question and started to question the 22-year-old.
“Why James, I, I don’t…” Mrs. Craven said.
“Gladys, He wants you to help him with a decision,” Mr. Craven said. “Just answer the boy yes or no.”
“Uh, why, yes. I think. Is that what you were looking for, James? Yes.”
James smiled. “Thank you, for your wisdom, Mrs. C. You’ve been helpful. I’ll tell you about the decision sometime soon. And I’ll have you to thank for it.”
After James disappeared into the Fellowship Hall, Mr. Craven said, “I would’ve said ‘no’ dear, but that’s why we’re so different.”

Good read David. This will be my last post for a while as I and three Doctors and five other ER Nurses head out to Florida to help with the devastation from Hurricane Ian. Please keep me in your prayers. God Bless you.
Will do, Naomi. Lord bless.
